SafeSign photoluminescent signs store the energy from light sources and release the light energy in the dark thanksto the use of 100% environmentally friendly photoluminescent material, free of toxic or radioactive additives andexceeding all required afterglow properties.
SafeSign innovated sign production by replacing the widely used PVC with a modified PET that is fully recyclable. PVC is increasingly banned due to its toxicity and flame resistance, our modified PET can be used safelyanywhere. In addition, SafeSign’s products are UV resistant, unlike PVC which quickly turns yellow. That's why SafeSign offers a 5-year warranty.
SafeSign prints from the back, another innovation, this way the print is protected from environmental influencesand the result is signage with a glossy front. SafeSign signs are always easy to mount thanks to the self-adhesivebacking. All signs are supplied with a protective front foil, which must be removed after mounting.
The most economical signs
The cost of the signs themselves is only a small part of the total cost of your signage. Identification, ordering,transportation, installation and billing usually make up more than 90% of the total expenditure. With an expectedlifespan of 10 to 15 years, you will reduce your expenses and apply an environmentally friendly and safe purchasing policy.

Reg 6 Smoke Generation Potential and Toxicity
The purpose of this regulation is to reduce the hazard to life from smoke and toxic products generated during a firein spaces where persons normally work or live. For this purpose, the quantity of smoke and toxic products releasedfrom combustible materials, including surface finishes, during fire shall be limited.
Paints, varnishes and other finishes used on exposed interior surfaces shall not be capable of producing excessivequantities of smoke and toxic products, this being determined in accordance with the Fire Test Procedures Code.

The following surfaces shall have low flame-spreadcharacteristics in accordance with the Fire TestProcedures Code: In passenger ships, exposedsurfaces in corridors and stairway enclosures andof bulkhead and ceiling linings in accommodationand service spaces (except saunas) and controlstations, etc.
Sign installation
SafeSign is the only manufacturer who supplies all signs, posters and LLL-strips with a selfadhesive backing. Youwill never have to use adhesives or other methods for fixing. The selfadhesive backing, from a PE closed-cell foam,is specifically selected to withstand the harsh marine environment. All signs, posters and LLLstrips are delivered witha protecting front film, which must be removed after mounting the product.
